Slack

Your AI lives in your Slack workspace.

Add MoClaw to any Slack workspace and use it from a channel, a DM, or a thread. Mention @MoClaw to ask anything, or set it up to post daily briefs, summarize threads, and watch channels for the moments that matter.

How it works

3 steps to wire up Slack, no engineering required.

  1. 1

    Install the app

Install MoClaw from the Slack App Directory or share a workspace install link with your admin. Takes about 90 seconds.

  2. 2

    Pick the channels

Choose which channels MoClaw can read from and post to. Defaults to DMs only until you invite it elsewhere.

  3. 3

    Mention or DM

Type @MoClaw in any channel it has been invited to, or open a DM. Same memory, same skills, same files as the web app.

Try saying

Real prompts you can paste into Slack.

  • Summarize the last 100 messages in #product and pull out anything that needs a decision.
  • Watch #incidents for the word 'paged' and DM me the moment it appears.
  • Every Friday at 4pm, post a summary of this week's commits in #engineering.

Step by step demo

What actually happens when you send the prompt.

Prompt 01 3 steps

“Summarize the last 100 messages in #product and pull out anything that needs a decision.”

What MoClaw does

  1. 1 Reads the last 100 messages in the #product channel.
  2. 2 Identifies threads with decisions, blockers, and unanswered questions.
  3. 3 Drafts a numbered summary tagged by who raised each item.
Result

Posts a thread reply: '5 items from this week. 1) Sunset the legacy pricing page by Mar 21 (raised by Dana). 2) Move design review to Wednesdays (raised by Kai). 3) Hold the iOS ship for the security review (raised by Mei). Plus 2 open questions still need owners.'

Prompt 02 3 steps

“Watch #incidents for the word 'paged' and DM me when it appears.”

What MoClaw does

  1. 1 Subscribes a continuous Slack listener to the #incidents channel.
  2. 2 Filters new messages for the keyword 'paged' (case-insensitive).
  3. 3 On a match, sends a DM with the original message link and the user who posted.
Result

A few hours later you get a DM: 'Sara just posted in #incidents: paged on api-prod, looking now. Open thread.'

FAQ

Quick answers about pricing, privacy, and limits.

Can I limit which channels MoClaw can see?
Yes. By default it only sees channels you explicitly invite it to. The workspace admin can also restrict the install to specific channels at the org level.
Does it work in private channels and DMs?
Yes for both. Private channels need MoClaw invited as a member. DMs work automatically once the app is installed.
Will my Slack workspace pay extra Slack fees for this?
No. MoClaw runs as a single bot user, which Slack does not bill separately on standard plans.
How does this share memory with the web app?
Same MoClaw account means same memory. Start a thread in Slack, continue it on web, finish it from Telegram.
